I recently cleared my desk, well it’s an ongoing battle I have with myself and recently I have been making more of an effort to be more tidy because I find when I have a desk I can actually see, the creative process feels easier- perhaps there is something in that Feng Shui stuff after all…?
Anyway, I found a collection of 6mm Swarovski pearls and 5301 bicone crystals in olives and greys that I had obviously set aside with some greater purpose in mind
and subsequently forgotten all about! This morning I decided to arrange them in a symmetrical pattern and make a little jewellery set. And here they are: (I forgot to do the “before” photo but anyway…)
Bracelet, Necklace and Earrings
BTW I give names to all my ranges, even for one-offs. What may appear to be clever marketing (who me?) is actually just a simple way for me to identify the different ranges e.g. when talking with customers on the phone. I got the idea from one of the IKEA founders, although I doubt highly that I’ll ever have a range called Sniglar…
And so the “thinking” behind this is that “Jada” means precious green stone, well at least according to babynamesworld.
